You still have it grounded at the factory location?change it if you do..and if you can just drop a smaller carb to see how she reacts

G9, I'm not sure about specific problems w ground on the zumas, buy these bikes in general seem to have ground issues. On my bike I've noticed everything has a ground wire run to the batt and split off instead of grounding the frame. I've been slowly changing it over one by one, and it seems to be a magic spell that fixes stuff-starter works great, turn signals flash quick and bright, headlight worked better, etc. The way I do it is running a wire from batt straight to the frame (clean the paint from contact point), then find every ground split in the harness and replace it w a ring terminal and ground it to the frame.

Just too much carb for the bore. Same with any sub 82cc, 24mm is all you will ever need.

tuning vary on 24 vs 28mm carb... 28mm is better.
