PGO

Post by NB50clonePGO6GOD »

Am I able to move the "stock" mount position on my aero needs to come out more in the rear not enough to have to shave the tire area out.

Just enough so I can put a higher lift in the rear end simulating a dirt bike like ride.

2-4 inches I am mounted to the top set holes in the stock chassis there is a open setbof slots down toward the bottom back of the kickstand. If the stock tires clear the rear of the fender I may bag the rear and chop the stock fork in the front and have airbags welded on from a car.

I want to look more like a dirt bike like the newer scoots with the option of low rider cruising stock look.

Or better yet have coil over shocks welded in front BTW someone know how to up the CVT rpm for engaging. I like my current idle speed but it pulls a tiny bit with your hands off the brakes.

If you want it to take off at a higher rpm you need to swap your clutch springs, or whole clutch. I've gotta used malossi fly clutch w bell and new spring kit if you want it.

You can buy 'Dog Bones' to jack up the rear end.

This will affect the steering geometry to give the front forks a steeper angle and reduce trail.

Doing this will make the handling more lively - closer to a sport bike - but you sacrifice stability, increasing the risk of a tank slapper.

If you find the handling too frisky after the jack up, you could maybe add wider bars or steering dampers to help keep it in check

This sort of thing

Reckon it would be fairly easy to machine your own to suit

Ohh face palm seen this before jacking the rear end is no issue as its a tank slapper with me and my book bag of tools on board have to go 5mph over bumps and it scraps like a acura legend with kids in it at the kick stand

What if I swap to a car shock with the jack kit one Monroe sensatac shock she don't scrape with no load.

It looks like a perfect mount up if its Honda based brand open gap and screw plates.

I'd prefer it sports bike like large tire area if I did the right wheel conversion just adding that piece you said and running a narrow 12 rim I have a lot of room clearance for bigger rim in the front and room for a narrow rear 12.

That will reset the handling a lot.

I'm thinking dirt bike like 12 on a high tail chassis about 1.5-2.5 inches due to my chassis sits leveled to the ground you space the body from the provides stock height with weight eliminating scrapes when of weight days come she sits high like a deer bouncing from a miss shot.

Basically I want rims like this :

I now refuse to touch the paint at this point
