Electric Start not working but Kick Start is - Yamaha Vino

I got a 2007 Yamaha Vino Classic 50cc that I recently purchased used on Craigslist. It runs (yay) but unfortunately it seems that the electric started suddenly stopped working, worked a little, and then stopped again.
When I push the electric start button, nothing happens (no noise or anything). When the scooter is on all the lights work fine, so not sure if it's a battery problem, but I'm guessing I could be wrong. This isn't something that I have to fix immediately, but something I would like to tinker around with trying to fix it. First step would be, where the heck is the starter and starter relay so I can check those, and how do I open the front panel, haha. Also having issues opening the box that holds the starter button on the handle bars, and any advice for that would be as well. Thanks!
