Remove part #3 to find part #9.

Thanks,

That's sort of what I thought. I don't have it behind my item 3.

Then you don't have it. I'm surprised you have the door (part #3) people usually toss both to get to the spark plug.

#3 looks like it might be a longneck holder.

My item #3 has a hole in it. Looks like it may be for a hold down of some type. If you look at the parts diagram the hole is not shown and I do not have the mating hole on the panel circled in red.

Also how does item #9 fit in. I can see where the top plastic snap fits, but what keeps the bottom in?

Thanks

#3 usually has a screw on it, but I have a new one and a new body cover, and it clips in so tight it'll probably brake to get off again so I doubt you really NEED the screws I don't have part #9 but I think it rests on the frame on the bottom

Yup, exactly as designed haha. Actually you could probably fit a 12 oz can or 2 in there but it'd probably get warm!
Maybe a factory "stash spot"(for your stash)? It's kind of a joke as a glove compartment tho(unless you only put gloves in there)

I hate autocorrect- I've edited this post like 4 or 5 times now haha
