front pegs
on longer rides , i find myself looking for some front pegs. I saw theseand thought they could be made to work.
Thoughts? Could it be done and not look ridiculous with stock plastics?

Re: front pegs
u wanna put them on a spree, aero, elite or otherwise?
i would just about say yes, because the frame that holds the floorboard down is right there and already has bolts in it.

Re: front pegs
Elite. But I am less apt to spend $200 on some highway bars when that is half the price I paid for the whole bike.

Re: front pegs
Place an add on CL that you are looking for some take off pegs for a custom build. You can pick em up cheap that way. I paid $10 for pegs.mr pibbs wrote:Elite. But I am less apt to spend $200 on some highway bars when that is half the price I paid for the whole bike.

Re: front pegs
The front headlights on my spree serve for some nice "calf" rest-ers. just kick my foot right up there... granted I'm a smaller guy so I can get away with it without doing damage to the lights/plastic...
I've had the same though but at 150+ i think i'll just stick with my front turning lights.

works for jet skis and snowmobiles too but I've never had the balls (or was it agility ) to try it on the pavement with a bike.i-want-2-wheelie wrote:The front headlights on my spree serve for some nice "calf" rest-ers. just kick my foot right up there...

Re: front pegs
I'll measure for you tomorrow. That is nice but really pricey for all the more it is.

Re: front pegs
saw a pretty sweet setup this guy did on his zuma 125 over at advrider
im sure it couldnt be too hard to fab up something like this
seems to bolt right into the floorboard.

Re: front pegs
Yes, I've seen that done with sockets and broken extensions too. A four way wrench looks good if your bike is naked.
