Im repainting it though, new year, new paint.
Painting it White/Metallic Blue.
Whats your top speed with that setup, and how long can you run WOT?
I run my setup at WOT for ~20miles on the free way fine.
No cooling shroud either. Max speed ~65mph?

i haven't ran the bike outside of town yet. kinda a stop and go thing. it buries the speedo though with plenty of room to go. still have stock gears in it. as for the theme I'm thinking of new plastics all the way around.

Get a friend to follow you at your top speed in a car. Thats how I find my top speed.
Im running 1tooth smaller, I think 9:1 or 10:1.
just bought a garmin 220 zumo gps system as soon as i get it on the bike ill post a top speed. drove it on the high way for a good three mile stretch with a speed limit 0f 55 and i was behind cars the hole way. so im guessing 50ish. but it could have revved way more though as this bike revs severely high compared to my honda's

well like it says 60 mph. without gearing up. it was nice out today and wind was very low compard to the other day when i was running against the wind. it actually hits 60mph very quickly.
burnt_toast wrote:that sounds ideal for stock gears, bet she really boogie getting up there
with similar setup on my old jog, but smaller 17mm carb and 8.2:1 upgear i was able to pull near 70mph pretty consistently
some vids if u wana check it out: (mid 60 uphill in 1st, 66mph in second)
nice vids toasts. in the vid is about how mine runs. but from 0 to 20 mph mine runs like a mad man. wants to willy all over the place. but i actually added a washer (shim) in the variator. to give it a better launch. so i have 2 shims instead of 1. im thinking about taking one of the shims out to see if i can hit faster than 60mph.
burnt_toast wrote:removing the washer is a good idea to make it less wheelie monster, at your mod level should be good for about 2-3mph on top end
ya i think the take off is to much anyway. i have to throttle slowely when im actually trying to go some where. but when im playing around its kinda fun.
well i converted my bars over to a more racer look. actually helps your positioning for a drag type fill. leans ur waight forward. to help take off for a quicker launch. insted of poping willies all the time and then have to back off . this helps allot and its tatolyy custom free image hosting image host
the bars r from a gt dyno bicycle. cut down i used the goose neck from the bike to since it went right in for welding also converted the light lower to the front used the horn bracket to center the light. then i welded up some more brackets that way the light was adjustable and removable.
