Stupid Decal on back of fender....
On the back of the gyro fender is a stupid decal that does nothing .
But behind it are 2 holes ... Why ?
I,m thinking Honda probably was going to put a light or reflector back there ?
It always bugged me so I had a harbor freight LED kicking around .
Errrrrrrrrrrr drilled a larger hole stuck the LED in / fits perfect .
Haven't wired it up yet but probably black to ground (the bolt that holds the fender on ) then run 1 wire to the running light as I hardly use the brakes .
Check it out .
By the way I haven't given up on the goofy rear fenders ,I just wanted to see if I could build a carb cover
and it kinda came out ok so I stuck it on the industrial gyro and took it for a ride to the bar and had a Myers and coke tall in a chimney glass .

GYRO PETCOCK VS. CHINA PETCOCK
Ordered a China petcock on Thrs. arrived Sat. not bad 3 days .
Finally found a petcock for a Chinese go-cart that looked like it will fit the GYRO .
As you will see in the photos looks close and it does fit the 16mm honda size tank .
1. It has no bowl at the bottom (no biggie )
2. Has a plastic tube for the filter Honda has brass .
3. The outside bolt is smaller than Honda but it is 16mm ID.
4. I was going to replace the China knob w/ the honda but it just a c-hair bigger ( I guess I could try to grind it down )
5. Looking forward to many hours / min. of use w/China petcock (I am sure it will not last 25 years like a honda one )

So if your really stuck for a petcock I hope this might help you out . I ordered it from BuyATVsOnline.com ph.618-529-80000
Cost $9.95 plus $7.95 shipping $17.90 total .

Hello Brad
Sorry I know nothing about 84 gyros . It's a pain in the @ss but measure the OD.of the nipple and see if it's 16mm. Then this pet * should fit .
Also if you go to the ATV site you will see other size petcocks that might work again they are from China and you can see the Chinese craftmanship
but if you need something ,what else can you do ?
