Re: Cheap Rollers

Greetings:

I came this close to pulling the trigger on some Dr. Pulley "wedge" rollers while buying Polinis and Malossis this evening. I couldn't bear to part with a Jackson for rollers, though. Plus what weight will correspond with the 32-gram load of round ones I'm using? If someone has converted and can post from experience, I'd be obliged.

When I inquired a while back I was told that each slide should be a gram heavier than the rollers.

rolllers dictate ur accelaration and the top end of ur scooter...

depending on what purpose ur using...

i don't think spending a high price for a roller is not worth it...

u can get a good result using a taiwanese brand..imo..

Unless you are using too light of rollers, your top end should not be effected.

funny i have a 86 spree with 6500 miles on it and have never ever ever had the rollers replaced or needed to. Do you think thats because its a spree and low torque? seems to run great!! had to replace the spark plug the other day but it still hits 30mph no prob...??

You can't replace the roller in a Spree because it has none and that is why the Spree is slow off the line and slow on the top end. It is all compromise.

Which rollers can I use for the Gyro Canopy? Mine won't shift to second gear and might as well change the rollers when I open it up to investigate. Aside from which to use and where to get them, would changing the roller make my Canopy to shift to 2nd?
