Bear it was in a different thread, I can dig it up later. It was not intended to be a stab.
*traffic it is the smokeless semi sythetic. But in the ratio I have it does smoke. d*** thanks for the heads up on blocking those oil pump ports. I will do this now.
I was cruizing just now on the road at about between 20-35 mph. When I was going down hill the motor shut off, and the scooter smelt like burnt rubber. This may have been the smell of the rear tire because it did skid for about a foot then started to roll again. I hope to * that is not what a seize feels like. Now I am riding with the belt cover off, I removed it to inspect the belt and it appears to be fine. Any Ideas? The scooter was warmed up then I was just cruizing varying the speed between 20-35mph which it felt just fine doing about 1/2 throttle or so. then that happened.
I used the electric starter to see if it would turn over, it turned over just fine but did not start, so I check the basics and saw the kill switch was on... Flipped it back to run and it purred like a kitten once again! With all this being said, I dont know if I subconciously engaged the kill switch when the motor died or if I some how bumped it while riding thus killing the motor and me looking like an idiot. This is possible but not likely. Thanks for the insight guys
*Bear this is what I was getting at about the premium thing. I was just thinking about this when I was describing what fuel mix I was doing on my build.
