Red Flash has a hankerin' for a blue Sister. I've identified a possible adoption candidate. Evidently a 1998, but 4000 miles. The pic in the ad shows it's missing a kickstarter lever. Owner said "Oh, these didn't come with a kickstarter." I played dumb - not a difficult thing for me to do, really.
Anyhow, she says the VIN is 3H1AF1600WD900***. O Great Gurus o' VINdom, can you confirm the model year?

Hey Wheelman-111, I checked the Honda parts dealer I use online and
the 1998 SA50 has the VIN # 3H1AF160WD900*** is in fact a 1998 SA50 model,
which is the Elite "SR" model.
The "S" model, or SA50P, VIN is 3H1AF161WD400***. I have
highlighted the differences. Happy for you to find such a low mileage "SR".
Thanks, Dawgs.
Only trouble is riding 'em both at the same time. Maybe weld a couple cross bars across and make them into a Quad. Like a Gyro, only one wheel better! Nah, maybe Ms. Wheelperson could get over her snooty disdain for anything less than 883ccs?

Alright, I would love to see some pics before you tear that thing apart! Good Luck Wheelman-111. I might guess you have something in mind for this already? Did you say that this 1998 is blue?
Note the "congenital" aplasia of the kickstart pedal.
Not yet purchased.

Like about a third of what I paid for Flash. O' course, it's got more than 33 miles...

I'm assuming at least the electric start works. If you have the funds, I say get it out of the hands of someone who doesn't appreciate and take care of it.
Whow! Love the color! Man, I never find 'em this nice. Of course, I'm impressed!
Flash, and now Flame. Sounds perfect. Keep on rock'in. Thanks for 'da pics!
Good catch, EliteGuy. Thanks! "W" = 1998? It didn't occur to me that '98 was that transition year. Must be single-bearing then?
