Re: mopeds you ride (pics please)
Thanks for the questions!
The motor just coasts if I push it with the gas engine, unless I turn on the electric brake. Then it can regen into the battery, but it is quite expensive electricity VS the outlet!
The tank is from some old Bridgestone 90 bike. Ebay score that looked right.
The ehub on front is made by 9continent. The next hub will be a lighter geared unit called the Puma that will be all around better. Lighter, more torque, better efficiency during acceleration, etc.. I lace up wheels as part of my living so I get to see and experiment with all kinds of electric hubs.
The electric tops out at 42 on a downhill, about 35 on the flat. The gas tops out 36 on a downhill, about 32 on the flat. New carb is now installed but not tuned yet. It is acting like a lean bog but when I pull out the plug it is wet and black fouled. I'm still learning this two stroke tuning, the electrics and four strokes are so much more straightforwards!

The family`s daily rides.
Should have a couple of Elites and a Spree to play show and tell with by spring. We can learn much from wise words, and less from wise guys.

on another note:
I'll dress up my 89 E with the custom painted panels when I get my new helmet and post it up soon. =)
Expected delivery date of my new noggin protector is supposed to be this Friday... two more days...

Here was the Spree I built up before my back shut down the whole riding it part.

I did get around to fitting the side panels back on and I loved the way it sounded before I prepped it for winter storage where it remains
