That rock turns into a pillow when you are landing a 55' gap. I don't know why but I could never jive with a KLX. So you can rest assured that I wasn't the b**** who stole it.

Re: The Daily Chat
Just finishing up one of my projects that got set aside due to 'challenges' (the kind that crops up when you're making your own stuff) .
Challenges... such as: Okay, chain is different on the donor electric scooter than a bicycle. I bought an electric hub that I was going to install in the front; only to find out that the bicycle front fork is not wide enough to fit. =( ...of course, with these challenges this got set aside, and other projects came up (building an aquaponics system, etc.); that is until a week ago. when I set aside time to do something about it since I was tired of looking at it.
Electric front wheel drive Schwinn OCC chopper bicycle... now I need more 'oomph' so I am looking for a bigger electric motor for the front... then I'll have to get matching controller, etc... I wonder why my projects seem to be never finished. Perhaps I'll scale this project up to an electric motorcycle someday.

The Daily Chat
Well guys. I finally got on the ball with getting me a little enduro/dual sport bike. It's a 1981 Honda xl250s. Has its blemishes but overall a nice bike that pulls really strong. Needs a new seat, new battery, speedo doesn't work and tires are weather checked but for $500 I got a good commuter with a title.

...Log entry, stardate 6/03/2012.
Received e-mail from member GKinTN
Notified regarding availability of one 1985 Aero 50 listed on Craigs for $450 in nearby Gallatin galaxy.
Seller is also original purchaser and retains the original title.
Tires have been replaced with new.
Battery has reached terminal status.
Seat is uncompromised.
Fuel containment pod is empty and shiny.
While no attempt was made to initiate combustion in the main cylinder, all indications are that full operational status will be achieved with minimal effort.
At 1700 hours an away-team transported this machine to cargo bay 3 where it awaits induction into the Royal Fleet. Images will accompany the forthcoming log entry as revitalization occurs.
End report....

carnie, motormike. congrats to the additions to your vehicular stables.
On another separate topic... Here's a shout out to those members in Colorado, Florida, or elsewhere who may or are affected by the extreme weather. I've seen short videos just this morn about flash floods, and forest fires. Hope all is well with you and your families.

It wasnt easy to clean either nothing but fillets for that bad boy, so far this year I have the record for the biggest fish. I think my brother is jealous cause he usually catches the most. The last big one I caught was around 11lbs and he hasnt even caught one that big yet I always tell folks that when I fish I go for the big ones I dont even like using smaller hooks cause I dont want to catch little fish, I can sit all day just to get that 1 monster lol

The Daily Chat
Just figured I would share my successful ride tonight. I rode with my buddy who owns a 125cc yamaha. We rode 45.3 miles through four towns, thriugh some scenic territory with waterfalls and the works and had no problems whatsoever. The weather was Brilliant- in the low 80s. Mh friend is pretty new to the scooter scene and was thoroughly surprised at how well my "49ccs of fury" held up with his 125. We are going to try to get a small group together to go on some weekend excursions.
