The transmission gasket is easier to put on than any other gasket. All you do is remove the left side cover and then the trans cover easy. I have done this about 5 times. I have one if you would want to buy it.
When you replace the gasket make sure to clean all the old oil out with a rag. I wouldn't use solvent (brake clean, etc) as you don't want to wash out the bearings.
when i put a new cluch on mine i accedntly put a wrong bolt in the wrong spot and it messed up the threads. but my dad retaped it and now we cant tighten the bolt that much and it leaks a little from the bottom when it is warm. i was not sure what to do i was going to put seal all on the bottom of the trans but i want some more info on it
Ya, you have to be awfully careful when tightening bolts. It helps to use the torque specs. It is easy to strip that light alluminum. It may work to put in a longer bolt. There may still be a few salvageable threads a little further back in the thread hole. Try that.
