Thank you. Restoring a Spree, or any scooter for that matter, is such a fun past time. I do thousands of bike parts a year to make them Indians stunning, but in the end, it seems so redundant after you do it all the time. It's nice to take something out of the usual painting and prepping norm and create something beautiful out of it. If these bikes were more modern, I'd have a blast riding them all the time. But, I'm proud of what I have put into them, and I want them to be there for a new generation to admire. The more the years go by, the higher the odds these classic bikes will only be found in scrap yards, broken up, and rusted. HeII, maybe someday you might see one for sale at the Mecum events. I know I personally would have a very very hard time ever selling one to just anybody. 8 of the top 10 bikes sold at Mecum Monterey were Indians.

I have one of those as well. My end goal for my AMI-50 is to have it be the first one sold at Mecum when I complete it.

Greetings:

I'm guessing those brothers are just about as tastefully pimped-out as it is possible to achieve with the fun-loving Spree. Amazing dedication, Dad.

This is where we ended up deciding where to hide the choke cable for the Polini carb, while still making it accessible. I wanted to avoid damaging the plastics any more then was needed, so rather than mount down below, went higher this time.

An update for this one, I will be utilizing Brandon Saylor's Scooter Swap Shop https://www.scooterswapshop.com/collect ... eed-pulley MOD, as soon as I can get my lazy azz to post some stats and differences between 15:81 gears I'll let ya know which is better. I'm using the 12T Iowa Edition stock gears with his mod for maximum bottom end.
