2010 Honda Elite 110

Post by btosi »

Hi All,

Looking at a 2010 Elite 110 to carry behind a motorhome. Looking for any info on this scooter. Will be carrying two passengers total weight 250lbs. Will this be a good choice. I like it because of the light weight and of course it's a Honda.

Thanks!!

Greetings:

At around 260 pounds fully fueled, it's not exactly light. It's actually heavier than my Vespa 150. But it is a Honda, and should run a long time with a good battery and periodic attention to the fluids. At that age, check for yellow hydraulic fluid in the master cylinder and replace regardless. An air filter, oil change and perhaps (depending on mileage) a transmission oil change should get you on the road for a while. VERY IMPORTANT to keep up with valve clearances too. With two aboard, I'd expect 50MPH to be slow to arrive, but for campgrounds it should be just fine. Read more HERE.
