I found an old Honda DIO in my dad's garage and I think it's an AF27. It's from Japan and from the year 1997. I believe it has a 49cc engine.
I tried to kick start it but it doesn't work. I have no clue what could be the issue, I have very little knowledge in these things. How do i find the issue and fix it? Need help ASAP

Re: Old Honda DIO AF27 not working
If you kicked the start lever, and the engine did not spin,
remove spark plug and try again. Report findings.

Re: Old Honda DIO AF27 not working
Thats actually a great find! Do not sell that thing. You simply HAVE to get it going. Its going to take some work, a little wrenching and small amount of cash for random bits but the finished product will be worth the trouble. You’re not polishing a turd here…youre shining up a rare gem!
Check for engine stamp on side of the motor case near the rear tire, just back from the airbox on the kickstart side. May have to brush away some dirt to see it but its there. If its an AF27 then you’ve struck gold. Heck, it even has a front disc brake! Jeeez…why cant I find stuff like this? All I find is roached out Spree’s or Elite 80’s.

I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.
