Hello-
I'm looking for some opinion.
I have a 1980 Yamaha QT50 noped and a 1981 Honda Express II noped in disrepair.
The QT50 is a little too small for me and needs a carb cleaning.
The Express II is not running, but fits me better than the QT50.
Neither have titles and at my age, I'd rather ride legal.
I could sell the both and buy a Spree local to me that is titled for @$500
I could sell the QT50 and then use ITS for a title for the Express, add in parts and shop time and a 70cc bore kit and have that as my bike, estimated cost @$600.
I could wait around for a sweet deal on a post '94 Elite.
The easiest route to riding is the Spree, but I'm almost 250 lbs. right now, so may not get too fast on there and I'd like to go @ 30-35mph.
Just looking for a few opinions. What would you do?

Its rather easy to register something depending on state, go down to you local DMV and see if it can be done. In MI all ya gotta do is make a fake BOS(or make a real one with the previous owner) and and its registrable.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
Done the research already. I can either: Use ITS for $140 per bike and get new titles, plates etc or get some guy in Michigan to register my bike, send me registration, bill of sale, etc and then go to the DMV and spend @ $130 total.
In the middle of the 2nd option, but guy flaked on me and hasn't happened.

Something like this:

I'm probably just reviving the Express II, though.
