Re: wtb ch80 parts/ ch250 motor!!

The suspension on Elite 80 is horrible.
If you add a CH250, there's radiator to consider and it will not
handle worth a hoot unless you also do a fork swap with disc brake.
Rear suspension will need to be completely modified.

Re: Honda elite

Settings ?
No, I don't know settings.
I look those up in the service manual.
Downloads available on this site under heading "Honda Service and Owner Manuals"
P.S. there are many different Elites.
Service manuals are different for each one.

Always wanted orange...coolio
My last one was yellow.
I've had white, red, and blue too.
Just ride it slow, save your money, get a 150.
That's my best advice for going faster and
having a bike that can do the Cherahola or Dragon without shame.

Re: Ch80 restromod project

Hiya Jumps...welcome back... :hi: Can't tell you about gears, but I've had a few CH80's. The valves are teeny-weeny. Tune your variator, new belt, but All that I've ever owned were doing 45mph tops. Mods aren't very successful. CHECK the intake and carb flange bolts. They are notorious for loosenin...

Re: NH125 Aero roller guides

I don't know what you paid for that "OEM belt", but they were very expensive last time I looked.
The optional belts are 1/4 the cost and work fine.

Stunning bike ! Can't help with your question, but cross-checking the part number would give you answers. Here's an old thread of my adventure with "Ruby". Maybe you will enjoy the read and find something to help with your bike. http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=20...

Re: 1987 spree

Best put a new spark plug in it.
Too bad about the neglected carburetor getting
ruined. Check the muffler to see if oil has drained down and filled it.
Might want to change the fuel lines to new if they are the OEM's.

Your troubles will all disappear if you clean the OEM and toss the Chinese junk.

Re: Spree - Slow Take Off AFTER engine warms up

Since you don't relate to scooter terms yet, newb... The bystarter is a thermo-reactive valve that controls the "choke" system on the carburetor. It has two wires, two screws holding it on, with a horseshoe retainer. it can be tested with an Ohm-meter. The service manual gives the value, ...
