Spree gear oil

Hear people using actual gear oil 80-90.

Does the manual actually say to use 10-30 or 10-40?

I’ve got some 15w-40 for my Honda CT90 since it’s rated for wet clutches (JASO). I drained and filled it with that yesterday am I going to be alright?

I have a 1987 Honda Spree just rolled over 400 miles on it, mint condition.

Yes, my opinion is it will be fine with 15w40
